CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program

The CA COVID-19 Rent Relief program is designed to help low-income Californians through the payment of unpaid rent to landlords. Funding for this program comes from the $2.6 billion in federal rental assistance. Renters and landlords can apply here.

Emergency Broadband Benefit

The EBB is a temporary program that can pay $50 every month toward the cost of your Internet service, and it is available to all families who lost some income in the last year and earn less than $198,000, among others. Apply for the discount here.

Lifeline

Lifeline is a federal program that lowers the monthly cost of phone and internet. Eligible customers will get up to $9.25 toward their bill. You can only use Lifeline for either phone or internet, but not both. Learn more here.

Homelessness Resources

If you know or see someone who is currently homeless, have them call the Santa Clara County homeless hotline at (408) 278-6420 to be referred to a program or placed on a waitlist to help them find housing.

Mayfair Community Programs

Amigos de Guadalupe Center for Justice and Empowerment offers rental assistance to those who qualify. Since the start of the program, they have given out nearly two million dollars to vulnerable families in the Mayfair community. Apply below:
